FSU’s Comm Dept. Braves the Man Cave
posted by Cassandra Carter | May 4, 2016 | In News, SportsEvery Friday this last semester, students have been able to enjoy a sports show: The Man Cave.
Under the umbrella of Bronco Studios, the Man Cave is run by a small crew of two hosts, Thomas Parnell and Terrance Foster, and two technical staff, Cam Crocker and Reggie Lewis. They recorded 3 pilot episodes, with the Super Bowl episode as their first.
Parnell and Foster are constantly researching sports topics to talk about. Because episodes come out weekly, the team is always working on scripts, filming, and editing. The Man Cave covers both big sports events and everyday sports news.
Parnell said having some experience in broadcasting was important to him and this show is being added to his portfolio. Parnell’s favorite episode was a pilot episode about Carolina Panthers victory over Arizona Cardinals, which solidified the Panthers going to the Super Bowl.
As seniors, Parnell and Foster will be graduating in May, so anyone interested in working on the Man Cave can contact Professor Berry in 216 Williams Hall.
The Man Cave can be watched on YouTube when you search for Bronco Studios.
