Terremoto Entre Irán y Irak: El Más Fuerte de 2017

Según La Encuesta Geológica de Estados Unidos, el terremoto ocurrió tarde el domingo por la noche del 12 de noviembre de 2017 con el epicentro en una zona rural del lado Iraní de la frontera y justo al sur de Halabja, una ciudad Iraquí. La profundidad del sismo fue superficial a 23 km (14 millas) con una magnitud de 7.3. Otros países que experimentaron las réplicas de este desastre natural fueron Pakistán, Líbano, Kuwait y Turquía.
Ambos países están haciendo todo lo posible para ayudar a las personas que han sido afectadas por la tragedia. La televisión estatal de Iraq advirtió a los ciudadanos que se mantuvieran alejados de los edificios ni usaran ascensores mientras estudian el terremoto. El Presidente de Irán, Presidente Hassan Rouhani, ha dispuesto el trabajo de rescate y los ministros de salud para ayudar a toda la gente. Earthquake Between Iran and Iraq: The Strongest of 2017
The earthquake that struck Iran and Iraq is now the deadliest and most powerful earthquake of 2017. According to the United States Geological Survey, the earthquake occurred late Sunday night, November 12, 2017, with the epicenter in a rural area on the side of the Iranian border and just south of Halabja, an Iraqi city. The depth of the earthquake was superficial at 23 km (14 miles) with a magnitude of 7.3. Other countries that experienced the replicas of this natural disaster were Pakistan, Lebanon, Kuwait and Turkey.
Both countries are doing everything possible to help people who have been affected by the tragedy. Iraq’s state television warned citizens to stay away from buildings and not to use elevators while analyzing the earthquake. The President of Iran, President Hassan Rouhani, has arranged for the rescue workers and the health ministers to help all the people. Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi has “instructed civil defense teams and health and assistance agencies to do all they can to provide assistance” to the victims as well.
In Iran, the leader, Supreme Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has called for civilian and military assistance for the victims. The Revolutionary Guard of the country has been traveling to the affected areas with rescue efforts. The Iranian Red Crescent Society has included rescue dogs in its rescue teams to search for survivors even though in their religion the animals are believed to be unclean. The team offered emergency shelter and treatment in the areas affected by the Hart such as Tehran.
Hundreds of families were devastated by the loss of their loved ones by the divine act that nobody could control. According to some eyewitnesses of the scene, nobody has ever heard or seen this massive earthquake damage within their countries. This unpredictable earthquake was not anticipated by the citizens of the country who were doing their daily activities. According to CNN news, a woman named Majidad Ameer, who lives in the south of Baghdad, said, “I was sitting with my children for dinner and suddenly the building was dancing in the air.” She added that, “At first I thought that it was a huge bomb, but then I heard everyone around me shouting, Earthquake! ”
On Monday, November 13, 2017, CNN updated their report on the number of people killed and wounded. In Iran, 445 people have been confirmed as dead and 7,100 people injured. In northern Iraq, 7 people were confirmed dead and 535 people were injured.
