Breakfast Grab & Go with AUTOS
posted by Jadelyn Velasquez | October 18, 2021 | In NewsOn Monday, October 11, day two of Homecoming 2021, A.U.T.O.S.: Commuter Student Organization distributed breakfast, grab-and-go style, and small giveaways for students. The breakfast boosted students’ spirits for the ongoing Homecoming week.
Beginning at 7 a.m., A.U.T.O.S. had a table set up with many Chick-fil-A breakfast boxes outside the Rudolph Jones Student Center. As vehicles passed by, people were surprised to find that the breakfast was complimentary.
Many people were served breakfast during the event, including Chancellor Darrell T. Allison and Vice-Chancellor of Student Affairs, Dr. Juanette Council. Chancellor Allison’s attendance at the event was greatly appreciated.
Brenden C. Warren, president of A.U.T.O.S., delivered a message on the day of the event about the importance of making a difference.
“Making someone’s bad day into a good one makes a change,” Warren said.
