Broncos takeover the runway at this year’s Homecoming 2021 Fashion Show
posted by DorMiya Vance | October 18, 2021 | In Arts and CultureLast week, it was Homecoming in Broncoville, and our Broncos made sure to step this year. FSU Student Activities Council, aka SAC, put on one of the most inclusive fashion shows our Broncos have seen.
Hosted by viral musical artist Saucy Santana, everything went down in the Seabrook Auditorium, where our Broncos shut the runway down.
At the start of the fashion show, our Broncos came dressed, pressed, and better than the rest. The show opened with music to get our Broncos ready for the main event.
Saucy Santana came out to his viral song “Walk” as he strutted his stuff up and down the Bronco runway. The Broncos had to show Saucy how to walk in Broncoville.
The show continued with a performance from the Black Millennium Model Club and its alumni.
BMMC debuted a plethora of looks for our Broncos. BMMC first took the runway with a routine featuring a classic black and white look, then transitioned to a warmer fall fit with elements of brown and beige. The lovely BBMC ladies kept the crowd going with their silhouetted dance that ended with a standing ovation.
It then came the time for everyone to get their model on.
Students were fresh to death as they walked up and down the stage. There was authentic streetwear, elegant evening attire, and a few out-of-the-box outfits that caught the attention of the entire Seabrook Auditorium.
Saucy then allowed the crowd to choose the winner through applause and crowd noise. The best-dressed Broncos of the evening were our new faces of the University, Miss FSU Sha’More Lowery and Mr. FSU Jacob Crutchfield.
As the evening came to a close, Saucy allowed the crowd to join him on stage and do a Tik Tok to his viral song “Here We Go.” Saucy is the creator of a viral dance that accompanies the piece, and of course, our Broncos were up on his Tik Tok trends.
Finally, the Broncos took to the stage one last time for the vogue portion of the show. The girls came through with this highly-stylized, modern house dance dating back to the 1960s, and our Broncos love every moment of it.
The fashion show concluded with all models and students doing one last walk around to receive applause and praise for looking their best. This evening was a night of style, courage, and fun for all our Broncos.
