Senior 2023 Spotlight: Jade Jordan
posted by Nicholas Robinson-Carter | February 20, 2023 | In Arts and CultureBronco athlete Jade Jordan will be graduating this spring.
Jordan is a Fayetteville native, who graduated from Pine Forest High school in 2017, and played basketball, soccer, and ran track.
Before becoming a Bronco, she attended UNC-Charlotte in the fall 2017, and did two successful years of women’s indoor and outdoor track as a jumper. Jordan majored in marketing while at UNC-Charlotte.
Jordan transferred to FSU during 2020-2021 academic year when the COVID-19 pandemic began. She majored in communication and media studies because she loves to talk and make connections with people.
She is active on campus as an orientation leader through the Office of Student Engagement, Black Millennium Modeling Club, as well as working two internships – one from State Employees Credit Union Fellows and the most recent one at Fayetteville Stingers. Jordan also still runs track for FSU.
After graduation, Jordan plans to go to graduate school out of state in a big city and receive her master’s degree in marketing. She hopes to earn a scholarship while getting her masters.
As her time here as a Bronco comes to a close, Jordan wanted to leave some final words on journey as college student: “FSU has contributed to my growth overall. I’ve gain so much skills that I feel like I am ready academically career wise and life wise in general. All my experiences and knowledge has prepared me for the next step.”
FSU wishes Jade the best and congratulations on an extraordinary career path in line. Look out for another senior spotlight for the class of 2023!
