FSU’s Got Talent!
posted by Je'Lesa Jefferson | October 3, 2018 | In Arts and CultureListen up, Broncos! There is a hot new show on Bronco TV called FSU’s Got Talent, produced by communication student Iliana Vega.
As you may know just from sitting in class with your fellow classmates FSU has a lot of talent to offer. You may never have known that the person had the gift of song, such as junior Randy Cherry who auditioned for the show, and that they are trying to branch out.
The show consists of three judges: seniors Christopher Wells, Keyona Smith, and junior Kevin Henderson. Watching this show was simply entertaining from the accents to the dance moves.
Vega, a junior, is a woman on the move. Not only did she come up with the idea of broadcasting our school’s talented students, she produced the show along with her fellow communication students Dzyare Chisholm and Nieema Williams.
Bronco TV is an opportunity for students to get hands on experience in broadcasting. Chisholm defines Bronco TV as being “a collision of students and teachers and people good with the production side and studio.” By joining Bronco TV it “shows us if we really want to pursue this career,” said Chisholm. “I love Bronco TV. I’m in it to win it.”
With so much enthusiasm she and her fellow students worked diligently to produce for you a show that promotes our school’s talent.
When asked what made her want to produce a talent show Vega said, “I was just curious and excited to see the many talents we had on campus.”
The show will be airing sometime in October so keep your eyes open. Bronco TV is shown on channel 4.3. According to Vega, maybe the second part of FSU’s Got Talent Show will air depending on how well everyone receives the first half.
A couple of others shows coming out soon will be a talk show, Attitude Check by one of the FSU’s Got Talent judges Keyona Smith, and Your Health in 15 minutes produced by senior Wil Brown.
In regards to Bronco TV, Vega said “There are many interesting topics this year. I definitely recommend staying tuned to the Bronco TV station.”
