As of lately, the renowned broadcaster and beloved TV host has been out of the limelight for some time. Fans have wondered if the “Wendy Williams Show” was ever going to return.
Many loved her show because it was all about the hottest gossip and hot topics in Hollywood. While hosting her show she would interact with her audience, she would always open her show with her catchphrase: “How you doing?” Wendy is best known for her gossip, but she also did giveaways to her audience.
Now she has since stepped away from the spotlight to focus on her physical and mental health. She has been battling with her health for years now, it came as a shock to her fans when she fainted on live TV in 2017, while hosting her show. Since then, she has been battling her alcohol addiction.
Ever since then, things have been rapidly declining, she is also under financial guardianship because she was deemed “incapable” of handling her finances alone.
Lifetime has released a documentary that talks about what has happened in Williams’s life while she has been out of the limelight. In a snippet, it shows how agitated and distant she was. The snippet also briefly showed someone confronting her about her drinking habits. The documentary airs in several parts and talks about her physical and her mental health struggles.
As fans, we can only hope that she can get the help she needs and that she can be healthy once again. Dementia is not a curable disease, but there are treatments out there to help with her cognitive decline.
