Mrs. Omega Psi Phi 2014-2015; Who Wins the Crown?

There was an exciting buzz in the air in the Seabrook Auditorium on the night of March 1^st. It was elaborately decorated in gold and purple, the fraternity’s signature colors. Hundreds of fans filled the seats, complete with signs and noise makers, cheering for their favorite candidate. On this night the illustrious fraternity of Omega Psi Phi would crown its new queen, Mrs. Omega Psi 2014-2015. In addition they would also choose their royal court.

Total there were eight contestants varying from freshman to seniors, and each brought something different to the table. There were five judges in place to rank each of the contestants by rank of their performance. The different categories were interview, swimwear, talent, business attire, questions, and evening gown. Each contestant was different and they showed their personalities through these categories. However it was Nena who won the crown. Her funky swimwear choice as well as professional business attire and inspiring monologue is what won the judges over. The crowd was just as ecstatic as she was. Congratulations Nena we know you will do an incredible job as the new Mrs. Omega Psi Phi.
