Blue Soul Celebrates Black History Month
posted by Ty Hamer-Yelverton | February 14, 2022 | In Arts and CultureThe Musical Voice of Fayetteville State University aka “Blue Soul University Choir” will be celebrating Black History Month through musical appearances throughout Fayetteville community.
On February 13, the University Concert Choir will perform virtually at John Wesley United Methodist Church and FSU Chancellor Darrell Allison was the guest speaker for the Sunday morning service at 10am. This program has been rescheduled for February 20, 2022, at 10:00 a.m.
On February 19 at 7:30 p.m., join in the celebration as the Cumberland Choral Arts presents “Lift Every Voice and Sing” at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. Blue Soul will be performing as well as our Director, Dr. Denise Payton.
On February 28, at 5 p.m., Blue Soul along with the Office of Student Engagement present “Spiritual Awakening.”
