FSU End of the Year Athletic Awards 2024
posted by Nicholas Robinson-Carter | May 3, 2024 | In News, SportsOn April 24, Fayetteville State University Department of Athletes held their end of the year Bronco Athletic Awards for their student athletes and celebrated all five CIAA Championship teams through the 2023-2024 academic season.
The event was at the Metropolitan Room in downtown Fayetteville. Also, all the Bronco student athletes were able to wear denim as this was a way to support Sexual Assault Awareness during its 25th year.
Before getting into the ceremony, 18 athletes were inducted into National College Athlete Honor Society Chi Alpha Sigma. For those students, we welcome Allinson Torres, Aliyah Brown, A’Lexus Everett, Abraonna Williams, Nia Gibson, Holley Johnson, Irene Jeptoo, Daisy Jerop, Joan Kiplagat, Hillary Toroitich, Tyler Gill, Paige Rockwell, Katrina Lowe, Laniyah Bethea, Isabella Rumbold, Jayla Swanson, Lucinky Lucien, and Brianna Lucien.
Let’s give a round of applause to these students that achieved excellence in and out of the classroom.
