Senior 2023 Spotlight: Managing Editor Breyonna Hardy

Hardy is from Rocky Mount, North Carolina. She graduated from Rocky Mount Senior High School in 2019.
Hardy became a Bronco in fall 2019, becoming an english and literature major with a concentration of creative and professional writing.
While attending FSU, Brey has been a part of The Voice newspaper since last school year. She went from a news editor this past fall to now a managing editor this spring. Brey was also part of National Association of Black Journalists.
After graduation, Hardy plans to become a writer or an editor.
“I want to edit books and articles or maybe even write my own book one day,” stated Hardy.
As she heads to the finish line as a Bronco, Brey wanted to leave some final words on journey as a college student: “I want students to come to Fayetteville State with their eye on their mark. Do what makes you happy. When I came to FSU, I was confused about what I wanted to do, now leaving here, I know that I am a Bronco creative, and I strive to creatively make my mark on the world as I did here.”
