FSU Announces Homecoming Concert Line Up
posted by Jamilyn Wallace | September 20, 2022 | In Arts and Culture, NewsFayetteville State University announced the line up for their Homecoming 2022 concert headliners last Wednesday at the home-opener for women’s volleyball.
The Student Activities Committee (SAC) at FSU, came out between sets during the volleyball game, and announced that Duke Deuce, Key Glock, and DaBaby would be performing. Before each artist was announced, the DJ would play a well-known song of theirs and then they announced the name.
The highest anticipated performances are Key Glock and DaBaby. Students at FSU were in an
uproar when they were announced at the game.
Even in the comments under the Instagram announcement, people were very excited for the concert:
“Oh yuh we turning up 🔥”
“Okay SACCCCCC 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥”
“YESSSIIRRR ITS UPPP 🥳🥳🥳”
“I’m most excited about DaBaby’s performance! I think SAC did a good job, I’m not mad at it at
all”
“I like the lineup, because it’s new, and I listen to a lot of their music so I think it’s good!”
Student Government Association (SGA) President Maya Martin was excited for the concert as well and looks forward to seeing her fellow Broncos there.
“I’m very proud of SAC for all the hard work they do, and I’m looking forward to the concert. I hope to see Broncos new and old there,” Martin said.
DaBaby is a rapper born in Cleveland, Ohio and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. His most famous songs are Rockstar, Bop, and Suge.
Key Glock is a Memphis, TN native and his most famous songs are “Ambition for Cash”, “Mr. Glock”, “Russian Cream”, and more.
Duke Deuce is also from Memphis and his most famous songs are “Crunk Ain’t Dead” and “Gangsta Party” featuring Offset.
It is Homecoming season and FSU’s performance line up was highly anticipated, especially after North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University released their line up last weekend. NC A&TSU announced that they have Glorillla, Nardo Wick, Chloë, and Lil Baby coming for their Homecoming concert this year.
FSU’s Homecoming concert is scheduled for Saturday, October 8, at the Crown Complex.
