FSU Basketball is Back

In the first game back in the Capel Arena, Jalen Seegars led the way for the win by scoring 23 points and collecting 10 rebounds, having a double-double on the stat sheet.
Seegars for the first three games of the season is averaging 18.3 points a game. The last two games he scored 20 and 12. Another member of the men’s basketball team, Cress Worthy, who transferred from UNC Asheville to play at FSU, scored 14 points and added four assists to go along with it.
During the first half of the game, it was close, and the Broncos only led by 4 at the half, 37-33. Once the second half started, Chowan closed the gap early by hitting a three and making it a one-point game. Then FSU went on a 10-0 run, with six of those points coming from the free throw line, making the score 48-38. They continued to pile it on against the Hawks, causing them to commit 22 errors and scoring 25 points off turnovers.
The Broncos next two games were against UNC Pembroke, in which they lost 58-77, and hosting Augusta University, in which they lost, 65-74.
