The ‘Campus Deep Dive’ is a Bronco TV segment hosted by Sentell McCoy, a communication major in his junior year. McCoy said he is a “spectacle” and “one of a kind,” much like his segment. He shows great charisma and confidence.
On ‘Campus Deep Dive,’ McCoy brings in students from campus and touches on campus issues.
“I try to get some insight into who they are,” McCoy stated.
He showed a lot of passion when it came to speaking about telling students stories. He believes that “the students deserve a voice.” ‘Campus Deep Dive’ gives students a bigger platform to speak confidently on things that may be bothering them in their environment or personal lives.
He made the point that “There is a lot of different topics on campus that I personally don’t face, but other students might.”
His show gives students free-range to speak their minds and tell their stories. He said his questions and topics are entirely based off the vibes. Not every episode is expected to be so serious, but at the end of the day he gets to help people find their voices.
McCoy shows extreme interest in assisting the student body in learning to be comfortable with sharing their opinions. He is a self-aware host, very open-minded and open to hearing what you want to tell the university or the world.
McCoy said: “Campus Deep Dive tells the story of the students… If I don’t tell them, who will?”
