Preparándose Para la Feria Profesional

El servicio de carreras ha preparado eventos para que los estudiantes estén listos para entrar al mundo laboral. La feria de empleo se llevará acabo el miércoles 29 de septiembre de 1 pm a 4 pm. Sin embargo, se estima que muchos estu-diantes no podrán asistir en persona por razones diversas.
De la misma manera el programa de los servicios de carrera se han extendido un día más para preparar a los estudi-antes en línea el jueves, 30 de septiembre, de 11 am a 4 pm. Así que estudiantes de todos las carreras universitarias podrán asistir.
Uno de los eventos que programado para que los estudiantes estén preparados fue, “Traje de JCPenney”, que ocurrió el domingo 12 de septiembre en JCPenney dentro del Cross Creek Mall de Fayetteville.
El evento consistió en llevar a los estudiantes al centro comercial para elegir ropa profesional. Fue diseñado para que los estudiantes encontrarán vestimenta profesional durante un día en particular como para feria de empleo. Este Servicio de Carreras anima a los estudiantes a venir representables para dar una mejor impresión. Algunos estudi-antes serán entrevistados sobre su currículum.
Del mismo modo, el servicio de carreras ha colaborado con el Capítulo Epsilon Zeta de la Fraternidad Alpha Phi en organizer un evento que ocurrio el jueves 23 de septiembre, de 12 pm a 2 pm. Fue un momento en el que los servicios de carrera y el Capítulo Epsilon Zeta ayudaron a los estudiantes a prepararse para el día de la feria de carreras, para darles consejos sobre la revisión de los currículos, fotosprofesionales y mucho más.
Finalmente, el objetivo de la oficina de servicio de carreras es or-ganizar eventos para que los estudiantes puedan prepararse y tener suficiente experiencia para sus futuros trabajos. la forma en que Ca-reer servicio lo hace posible al ofrecer una feria de carreras. Muchos posibles empleadores de diversas empresas profesionales vendrán a impartir a los estudiantes conocimientos laborales. Los estudiantes recibirán preparación y dirección gratuitas del servicio de carreras de Fayetteville State University.
Fayetteville State University Office of Career Services has set aside a particular date to allow students to attend different professional workshops to gain experience and success in their future careers.
The Office of Career Services has prepared events to prepare students to enter the workforce. The on-site fall career fair will be held on Wednesday, September 29 from 1 pm to 4 pm. However, it is estimated that many students will not be able to attend in person for various reasons yet there are still 225 spots remaining in registering on Handshake.
Likewise, the Office of Career Services extended one more day for the fall career fair which will be online on Thursday, September 30, from 11 am to 4 pm. Students of all majors will be able to attend.
One of the events that the office has hosted for students to be prepared for the career fair is, “JCPenney Suit Up,” which occurred on Sunday, September 12 at JCPenney inside Fayetteville’s Cross Creek Mall from 4pm to 7pm.
This event consisted of taking students to the mall to pick out professional attire for a particular day such as a career fair with a 60 percent discount with any purchase that occurred that day during those hours at JCPenney. The Office of Career Service encourages the students to come to the career fair dressed for success.
Similarly, The Office of Career Services has collaborated with the Epsilon Zeta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. in organizing an event that took place on Thursday, September 23, from 12 pm to 2 pm in the Rudolph Jones Student Center. During this time, the Office of Career Services and the Epsilon Zeta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. assisted students in preparation for the fall career fair, to give students tips on resume revisions, opportunity to take professional photos, and more.
Finally, the goal of the Office of Career Service is to educate and prepare FSU student and the FSU alumni population for graduate/professional schools and the world of work by offering career development programs and services according to the Office of Career Services website. The Office of Career Services makes this possible by providing opportunities such an annual career fair each semester along various career workshops. Many potential employers from various professional companies will come to impart job knowledge to the students. Through these opportunities, students will receive free preparation and direction from the Office of Career Services at Fayetteville State University.
